About SGPS P&C

Welcome to the Samuel Gilbert Public School Parents & Citizens Association Inc website. Our aim here is to let you know who we are and a little of what we do. First up - Who are we?

YOUR ELECTED P&C REPRESENTATIVES

EXECUTIVE MEMBERS

The P&C also has 3 Sub-Committees who report back to us at General Meetings. These are Canteen, Uniform Shop and Band. Profiles on each of these can be viewed by using the menu links above.

Any school parent is welcome to join us at our P&C General Meetings, usually twice a term. It is our job to help make the following happen:

PRIMARY P&C OBJECTIVES (as stated by the P&C Federation of NSW)

  1. To promote the interests of the School by bringing parents, citizens, pupils and teaching staff into close co-operation

Members of the P&C decide at a General Meeting how the funds are to be disbursed.

Recent popular fundraisers have been The Walkathon, The Annual Fete, Mothers Day and Fathers Day Stalls, plus a Tupperware Drive. Please support as many of these events as you can, much hard work goes into them and every dollar raised benefits our children.
