Samuel Gilbert OOSH is a not for profit centre managed by a Centre manager who is responsible to a voluntary Management Committee consisting of members of the association. The centre is a fully accredited high quality purpose built centre established in 1989 and located within the school grounds. Our team of staff is committed to the philosophy and goals of the centre. The diversity of skills and experience among the staff greatly enriches the team and the service that is provided.
We aim to provide a friendly, caring and safe environment for school aged children and their families to enjoy.
We are committed to providing a quality program which enables choice, is stimulating and offers a range of indoor/outdoor activities, arts/crafts/sports cooking and many creative opportunities for children to explore and develop new skills.
Hours of operation:
Before School Care: 7am-9am
After School care: 2.55pm-6pm
Vacation Care: 8am-6pm (not operating in the 2008 January school holidays)
Meals and Nutrition
Breakfast
A range of healthy choices are available on the breakfast menu up until 8am
Afternoon Tea
Is offered between 3.20-3.50
A range of healthy snacks including fruit is served in accordance with the Australian Dietary Guidelines for Children and Adolescents.
Fees
A once only non refundable membership fee is payable on enrolment
$25.00 single child
$40.00 family
Casual places are occasionally available at a cost of an additional $2.00
A bond of 2 weeks full fees is also payable on commencement at the centre
Before school care - $5.50 includes breakfast
After school care- $11.50 includes afternoon tea
Vacation Care- $30.00 in house day’s (excursions extra)
All families are entitled to the government’s child care benefit CCB payment a package will be issued on enrolment
