Creative Arts

An extensive program incorporating the strands of Music, Dama, Dance and Visual Arts is enjoyed by the children of Samuel Gilbert.

All children participate in grade choirs, and for our particularly talented vocalists, there is the opportunity to join a Vocal Ensemble of approximately 50 children.

Class music lessons offer a range of opportunities which combine with an extensive band program to complete the musical experience for our children.

Dance and drama are enjoyed across the grades with a variety of performances throughout the year.

Visual Arts encourages the appreciation and interpretation of work by recognised artists. Students experiment with a wide range of media and artistic styles to create work of an exceptional standard. Rooms are decorated with the students’ work and visitors are able to enjoy these displays throughout the school.
