Buddies
The Kindergarten/ Year 6 Buddy program successfully develops a very special relationship between the eldest and youngest members of Samuel Gilbert. We join together once a week for an organised activity but the time buddies spend together extends into the playground throughout the week.
Every Thursday Year Six and Kinder look forward to having an afternoon together doing art, sports, games or just simply chatting. Every Year Six and Kindy has a buddy and we all enjoy spending time with each other. Sometimes Kindies will come up to you in the middle of lunch and give you a big hug or ask you to play with them and meet them at a certain place. Altogether buddies love each other and love to spend time with each other, whether were just chatting, playing or waving to each other.
